This will be followed by your lunch or dinner at our open lounge deck., At the end of the class, you’ll receive the recipes as our gift, and impress your family and friends with your Balinese cooking skills back home.

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time. Pick-up time depends on your hotel location and whether you join the morning or afternoon cooking class.

06.30 – Visit a Traditional Market
Begin your culinary experience with a visit to a traditional Balinese market. Explore the vibrant stalls filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and aromatic spices while learning about the local ingredients used in authentic Balinese cuisine. You will also discover the traditional Subak irrigation system used in Bali's rice fields.

08.00 – Welcome to a Traditional Balinese Compound
Arrive at a traditional Balinese family compound overlooking a beautiful ravine surrounded by tropical gardens and spice plants. Meet your friendly host family and experience genuine Balinese hospitality before the cooking class begins.

08.30 – Balinese Cooking Class
Start your hands-on cooking class by learning how to make traditional Balinese offerings, including Canang Sari and Kuwangen. Continue by preparing authentic Balinese coffee from freshly roasted beans, making traditional coconut oil, and creating the famous Balinese spice paste (Base Gede) used in many local dishes. Guided by a professional Balinese chef, you will gain valuable knowledge about Balinese culture and cooking techniques before enjoying the delicious meals you have prepared.

TBA – Return to Hotel
After the cooking class is finished, your driver will take you back to your hotel. Morning classes begin at 08:30, while afternoon classes start at 15:30. Pick-up times vary depending on your hotel location.
